Coming from a diverse musical background, Howard is a great addition to Groove House. His range of musical tastes and skill adds to the different dimensions of the band. Howard's been a fixture of the Seattle scene for many years and has many influences including but not limited to Vinnie Colaiuta, Terry Bozzio, Elvin Jones, Milford Graves, Deen Castronovo, Steve Gadd, Jack DeJohnette, Tony Thompson, Gorden Campbell, Mike Clark, Simon Phillips, Jeff Porcaro, Vinny Appice, Tony Williams, Tony Brock, Omar Hakim, Jojo Mayer, Tommy Aldridge, Bill Bruford, Michael White, Philly Joe Jones, and Andrew Cyrille.
